The wine is fermented with cultured yeast using traditional techniques and matured in fine French oak bariques for up to 12 months.
A sweet spicy perfumed nose is redolent of cherries, raspberries with subtle oak underneath. The palate opens with strawberry characters, then revealing morello cherry, blackcurrant and spicy flavours. The wine finishes with soft tannins, gentle oak, lingering acidity and a residual strawberry aftertaste.
